We thoroughly enjoyed the evening . We got a new understanding of the various types of light in the street. We liked the concept of exploring the relationship between private and public lighting. It was great fun wandering the streets with Leni. We were impressed how she related to the group and engaged the group.

Leni was an inspiring guide to the night time lights, from Piccadilly to Soho. An enthusiastic, entertaining and educating evening.

Delighted with Helen Marriage's overview of Artichoke's work, especially the tranformative effect it's had on the culture of cities and the officials who run them. Being an amateur street-lighting enthusiast, it was very enjoyable to focus on the complex mixture of light effects that make up night lighting in cities, and Leni's passion for the subject was infectious. My only suggestion for any future event would be to have photography far less intrusive, especially flash photography during a powerpoint presentation--sort of breaks the spell! Otherwise, the event was beautifully arranged and presented, with staff being very generous in accommodating my friend who hoped to attend at the last minute.

Leni Thanks again for the nightseeing tour with artichoke. I have worked on and with cities for years and you have given me a whole new perspective. I now have yet another set of criteria to think about and a new way at looking at things. The remark you made about attempting to combine the public and private lighting makes great sense and I look forward to hearing about your progress on that fron George

NYC and GCT NightSeeing tour was a great way to understand the city’s public space lighting techniques, how they came to be and how locals and tourists respond. A good mix of technical, abstract and humour made for a great experience.
